This is Spacer D, the spacer and storage tray for our shorter 1/2" shallow socket organizers: the Sunex 2640 SAE and Sunex metric shallow. In a deep Milwaukee Packout organizer (48-22-8430 or 48-22-8435) it lifts the organizer to the lid, so the lid holds the sockets in place when you carry the box. Can also be used for standalone storage.
The open tray doubles as a storage compartment, 11.1 x 7.2 in (283 x 183 mm), for whatever else rides in the box.
Which spacer do I need?
Only the deep Packouts, 48-22-8430 and 48-22-8435, take a spacer; the low-profile 48-22-8431 and 48-22-8436 never need one. Your organizer drops into a deep Packout without a spacer. The spacer lifts it so the lid holds the sockets when you carry the box, and adds a storage compartment. Spacer and organizer stack in any order. Every organizer listing names its spacer.
- Spacer A: Our taller 1/2" shallow organizers. Milwaukee Shockwave 1/2" SAE shallow, No-Skip / 1/2" metric shallow, No-Skip.
- Spacer B: One 1/4" or 3/8" organizer. It nests with our organizers top and bottom, in any order. Under the organizer it lifts it to the lid; on top, its floor holds the sockets in the organizer below. On its own it is a storage tray for a tool chest, a shelf or an under-body toolbox.
Printed in tough PETG—shrugs off a hot truck and shop chemicals, built to last as long as the tools it holds.

Good to know
- Storage tray only — adapters, tools and toolbox are not included.
- Visible layer lines are normal. They’re part of how every organizer is printed, and they don’t affect fit or function.
- Color may vary slightly from the photos, due to monitor settings and material batches.
- Some socket slots may extend to the bottom of the organizer, depending on the geometry of the sockets. That’s a normal part of the engineered design, not a defect.
