Sunex sells this range as the 1848 complete master set — 48 pieces, no gaps. This insert is sized specifically for the CHINA-manufactured version — see Not Universal below before ordering if you're not sure which one you own.
- Holds all 48 pieces: 10 SAE standard, 10 SAE deep, 14 metric standard, 14 metric deep — no skips
- Fully modular — pull just the metric or SAE tray to the bench, plus a dedicated accessory tray for your ratchet and extensions
- The 11/32" deep socket uses retention to stay seated — every other socket lifts out freely
- Nests with other Mountaineer Maker organizers, above and below

Good to know
- Insert only — adapters, storage trays, tools and toolbox are not included.
- Visible layer lines are normal. They’re part of how every organizer is printed, and they don’t affect fit or function.
- Color may vary slightly from the photos, due to monitor settings and material batches.
- Some socket slots may extend to the bottom of the organizer, depending on the geometry of the sockets. That’s a normal part of the engineered design, not a defect.

“Another customer requested set. This set reused the Tekton 1/4" modular tray we developed. The idea is to allow removal of just the Metric or SAE tray's for use without needing to take the entire Packout. Since the socket trays do not consume the entire available tray space, I included a storage tray with a removable rack to handle any accessories you need to carry with the sockets, such as ratchets or extensions. Pay attention to the Taiwan vs Chinese versions of the Sunex sockets. The dimensions are different thus the trays are slightly different.”

This insert is cut to the exact dimensions of the CHINA-manufactured Sunex 1848 set — sockets from the Taiwan-manufactured version, or from a different brand entirely, may not fit correctly. China-manufactured Sunex sockets do not carry a "TAIWAN" stamp; if yours are stamped Taiwan, message us before ordering to confirm fit.

Fits with adapter — Packout Organizer
Drops into your deep Packout organizer with or without the spacer tray. If you wish to carry your Packout by its handle, our spacer tray raises the organizer so the lid holds the sockets in place.
Fits with adapter — Packout Drawer
Unlike the lid of a Packout Organizer, the Packout Drawers do not offer the same protection to the sockets from jarring out of position.
Fits with adapter — Bauer Drawer
Bauer modular drawers (Harbor Freight) use our adapter frame to secure the insert; the sockets themselves are not retained against jarring.
Same mating interface as the adapters — stacks on a shelving unit, a workbench, or a deep drawer.
