Sunex sells this range as the 3342 complete master set — 42 pieces including the 3" extension and universal joint. This insert is sized specifically for the TAIWAN-manufactured version — see Not Universal below before ordering if you're not sure which one you own.

Good to know
- Insert only — adapters, storage trays, tools and toolbox are not included.
- Visible layer lines are normal. They’re part of how every organizer is printed, and they don’t affect fit or function.
- Color may vary slightly from the photos, due to monitor settings and material batches.
- Some socket slots may extend to the bottom of the organizer, depending on the geometry of the sockets. That’s a normal part of the engineered design, not a defect.

As a reminder, each of our Mountaineer Maker system organizers is universal in shape and design, which allows them to not only fit the Milwaukee Packout organizers but also the Packout drawers and Bauer drawers. Keep in mind that these other storage units require custom adaptors which are available in our store or by request.”

This insert is cut to the exact dimensions of the TAIWAN-manufactured Sunex 3342 set. Sunex has since shifted production of this set to China, and socket dimensions changed as a result — sockets from the newer China-manufactured version, or from a different brand entirely, may not fit correctly. Taiwan-manufactured sockets are stamped "TAIWAN" on the socket body; China-manufactured sockets are not. If yours aren't stamped Taiwan, message us before ordering to confirm fit.

Fits with adapter — Packout Organizer
Drops into your deep Packout organizer with or without the spacer tray. If you wish to carry your Packout by its handle, our spacer tray raises the organizer so the lid holds the sockets in place.
Fits with adapter — Packout Drawer
Unlike the lid of a Packout Organizer, the Packout Drawers do not offer the same protection to the sockets from jarring out of position.
Fits with adapter — Bauer Drawer
Bauer modular drawers (Harbor Freight) use our adapter frame to secure the insert; the sockets themselves are not retained against jarring.
Same mating interface as the adapters — stacks on a shelving unit, a workbench, or a deep drawer.
