I patterned the rails to fit the rail accessories from Tekton and Ernst Mfg. HOW THE FLEXRAIL SYSTEM WORKS
Each custom rail has a circular boss on both ends that seats into the continuous groove channels running the full length of the tray's interior walls. That circular boss is what makes the rail rotate. The boss and rail shape also ensure the rail remains in place when the lid is closed.

Working position: rails stand upright. Load your sockets, bits, or tools using the included Ernst twist-lock clips. Access any tool instantly.

Transport position: rotate rails flat. The lid closes fully on both Low-Profile Packout models. When the lid is closed, the tray geometry locks the rails in the grooves — nothing moves or rattles during transport.

Rail removal: lift any rail straight out and take it to the job. Leave the rest behind.

Do I need to buy anything else?
No. The starter kit includes the tray, 4 rails, and 20 Ernst clips (10x 1/4" and 10x 3/8"). Load your tools and drop it in your Packout.

Can I add more clips?
Yes. The rails accept all standard Ernst and Tekton twist-lock clips. Buy additional clips in any drive size from Ernst, Tekton, Amazon, or Summit Racing.

Will the lid close with tools loaded?
